The 2016 HGTV Dream Home made its television debut on New Year’s Day. Interior designer Brian Patrick Flynn designed the home, and Ethan Allen provided the furniture and decor. The Merritt Island, Florida, home is 3,100 square feet, and for the first time in the show’s 20-season history, was a renovation project rather than being built from the ground up.

“The most enjoyable thing for me was having the ability to shop at one place to furnish the entire home,” said Flynn. “With Ethan Allen, it was all done in New York City, over just two days. That really made the entire process enjoyable and easy.”
