A new special exhibition entitled Trash Design will debut the Helsinki Exhibition & Convention Centre from September 14 to 18 during the Fall Habitare furniture and design fair.

Produced by the fashion designer Isa Kukkapuro and trash designer Henrik Enbom, the exhibition represents a visual and ethical lifestyle and can be introduced to all spaces in the home.

Trash Design uses anything that has already been removed from service, discarded or worn out. A trash-design object may be unique and reproducible as an idea, and brings a new perspective to object design, according to the fair's organizer Finnish Fair Corporation.

The program related to the special exhibition features workshops, folk music and lectures discussing freedom in design. The exhibited pieces will be for sale during the fair.
