Christmas was in the air last week at the new AERIN showroom in the New York Design Center, where Aerin Lauder and Kendell Cronstrom, editor in chief of NYC&G (New York Cottages & Gardens), co-hosted a holiday decorating and entertaining event.

The showroom was decorated for the holiday season and the evening’s gathering. Expert florist Michael Grim of Bridgehampton Florist was on hand, creating mini wreaths for the guests and sharing tips on holiday decorating.

A merry holiday menu created by Swifty’s, a New York City restaurant featuring American and European cuisine by Chef Stephen Attoe, featured hors d'oeuvres with wine pairings and a bonus holiday recipe for a “Classic Cheese Puff.”

“It’s a busy time for all but was nice to catch up with friends in the industry,” said Lauder. “I am so happy I had the chance to share some of my favorite flowers, food and wine with everyone.”
