Dennis Hunt is the new president of Ainsworth-Noah & Associates, the 37-year-old home furnishings company founded by Hal Ainsworth and Winton Noah. “We feel blessed to have Dennis at the helm, because he understands all aspects of our business, from the memo room to manufacturing,” said Ainsworth.

“It has always been a dream for me to come home and continue the legacy that Hal and Winton have created,” says Hunt, who began his career at the company as an intern in college before accepting a furniture sales position after graduating. “In addition to aesthetics, they taught me the vital importance of vendor and client relationships.” Hunt has also served as VP of sales for Nancy Corzine and most recently as managing director for Zimmer + Rohde.

The founders will remain on full-time, the company announced. “We have always viewed our employees as family,” says cofounder Winton. “To know that they have a place with us and are excited to stay with us through this transition means everything.”

Hunt has signed a 10-year extension on the company’s current lease at the Atlanta Decorative Arts Center. ADAC general manager Katie Miner says, “Ainsworth-Noah is a highly respected brand in the home furnishings industry. Their continued presence at ADAC signals that the rich heritage of excellent products and services offered at the Center is not only stable, but evolving and growing with the next generation of designers.”
