Today, the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, located just outside of Copenhagen, is unveiling an exhibit called "New Nordic - Architecture & Identity." This exhibit explores the relationship of architecture and culture and identity, and is the first in a series focusing on architecture as a field where collective memories and narratives are reflected materially and spatially, investigating whether certain "Nordic" features recur in architecture, and what creates an architectural vernacular.
The exhibit includes "Nordic theatres" which feature personalities from the five Nordic countries offering their suggestions, whether as an object or film, for a Nordic identity today.
