Last week, ASID NY Metro hosted its President’s Party and Summer Social, honoring the organization’s past presidents and announcing its new media partnership with Aspire Design and Home. Hosted by current president Robin Baron, incoming president Glenn Gissler and incoming president-elect Bjorn Bjornsson, the event was held at an apartment at One Riverside Park, designed by ASID members Bjornnson, Gail Shields-Miller, James Rixner and Andres Saenz. Throughout the night, guests enjoyed food from celebrity chef Danielle Saunders as they celebrated former ASID NY presidents, including party attendees Phyllis HarbingerTerry FinkelPamela J. “Understanding and appreciating our history is vital to preparing us for our future, as we continue to develop the chapter,” says Baron. “This year, we wanted to express our gratitude to the people who have helped shape our chapter. It meant a lot to us to have so many of the past presidents in attendance as we honored the integral role each has played in helping us become the chapter we are today.”
