Champalimaud Design appointed Edmond Bakos to serve as the firm's new Managing Director.
Bakos, who previously served for 18 years as a Principal and Studio Leader at Rockwell Group, will oversee a staff of 35 and spearhead the firm's expansion into new project types that leverage the firm's hospitality focus.

With a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell and a Masters in Architecture from Harvard, Bakos is recognized for his ability to collaborate with high profile clients on complex projects to create innovative and engaging guest experiences. Past projects have included the first W Hotel, the Belvedere Hotel in Mykonos and the Cosmopolitan Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
