Stark and Newel host summer soiree

Chad Stark, senior vice president of Stark and president of Scalamandre, and Jake Baer, CEO of Newel, hosted the 2017 Summer Kick-Off Soiree last week in New York City. Designers and industry professionals gathered for a night of tequila tasting, photo booth antics and a dessert bar. Designers in attendance included Sasha Bikoff, Paris Grant, Alan Tanksley, Roric Tobin and Sarah Ramsey.
“Ushering in summer this year with our second-annual party, despite the chilly weather, couldn’t have been more enjoyable,” says Stark. “Bringing together some of the best emerging and established talent in our industry, and having a fun time is really what this is all about. Part of the joy of my work is getting to interact with many different designers throughout the year. This party is a celebration of those relationships and something Jake and I love doing as a great way to kick off summer.”
