Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles magazine kicked off its 10th-annual Home for the Holidays Designer Showhouse at its opening-night party, "Moonlight & Mistletoe." The evening began with a toast to the design-build team, Harrison Design and Steve McGlamery Homes, in partnership with Blackstone Custom Homes, who were responsible for bringing this newly constructed 8,000-square-foot abode to life.
Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles editor in chief Elizabeth Ralls toasted to the Showhouse's honorary chair, longstanding interior design talent Carole Weaks. "We were thrilled to honor the talented Carole Weaks, who was the first woman to earn ADAC and Veranda's prestigious Southeastern Designer of the Year award, in 2002, and has been a leader in our design community since," she says.
Guests in attendance included Beth Webb, Matthew Quinn and Reid Steward. More than 20 noteworthy Atlanta interior designers transformed the Home for the Holidays Showhouse into an inspirational holiday feast for the eyes. The Showhouse benefits Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, and is open to the public for tours through December 9.
