On November 14, Kravet Inc. gathered to toast to the debut of the Kravet Couture x Altuzarra collection at The Gallery at 200 Lex. More than 100 guests celebrated the beauty of the fabric house’s collaboration with acclaimed fashion designer Joseph Altuzarra at an exhibit highlighting the luxurious assortment of fabrics and wallcoverings. The event was co-hosted by Joseph Altuzarra, Ellen Kravet, Scott Kravet and Daniel Kravet.
With jewel-tone and earthy prints, intricate weaves, and artistic wallcoverings, each piece seamlessly blends runway-inspired designs with the refined elegance of home decor. The collection showcases Altuzarra’s signature aesthetic, which merges nature’s allure with high-end craftsmanship.
“We were thrilled to celebrate this fashion-forward collection in none other than New York City, at the iconic New York Design Center—a hub for showcasing the most exquisite designs for the interior design community,” said Ellen Kravet. “It was truly rewarding to have Joseph share his extraordinary passion and inspiration directly with our customers. We can’t wait to see his stunning collection come to life in their spaces.”
The Gallery has been transformed into a stunning installation, with highlights including draped fabrics, a large-scale butterfly installation featuring the collection’s Rorschach print, furniture upholstered in the collection’s textiles, and select ready-to-wear pieces from Altuzarra’s Fall/Winter 2023 collection, which served as direct inspiration for the Kravet Couture line. This immersive experience beautifully bridges the worlds of fashion and interior design. The installation will be open through December 2.
