Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles magazine honored interior designer John D. Oetgen at the Moonlight & Mistletoe kickoff event for the ninth-annual Home for the Holidays Showhouse in Atlanta earlier this month. The showhouse, which benefits the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, was designed by nearly 20 designers, who transformed the new 9,000-square-foot home. The house was designed by Harrison Design and built by Sheehan Built Homes.
Benni Frowein, president of Schumacher; Chad Holman, managing director of Jim Thompson America; Katie Miner Hakes, general manager of ADAC; Adam Japko, CEO of Esteem Media; Beth Webb of Beth Webb Interiors; and William Peace of Peace Design were some of the guests in attendance.
“Every year, the Moonlight & Mistletoe event kicks off Atlanta’s holiday social season, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to use this occasion to honor an Atlanta design legend, John D. Oetgen, who has also supported our beneficiary, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, throughout his decades-long career,” says Gina Christman, publisher of Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles.
The showhouse is open Thursday through Sunday, until December 10.
