Structural Strategy for Interior Design Leaders I work with interior designers who have built successful studios — and reached a point where the foundation underneath that success no longer feels solid. Not because the work is wrong. But because the business was built quickly — or built to meet demand — without ever deliberately designing the structure. Most designers don’t need to start over. They need to redesign how their business is built. After serving as Creative Director at WOVEN and Chair of the West Hollywood Design District, I saw the same pattern repeatedly: Talent wasn’t the issue. Demand wasn’t the issue. Structure was. Studios grow. Teams expand. Client expectations increase. The business evolves reactively instead of intentionally. Over time, founders become overextended, over-responsible, and exhausted by a model they never consciously designed. Before making a major move — hiring, rebranding, pivoting — we slow it down. We examine the foundation: • What is the studio built to support? • What kind of life is it meant to sustain? • How are decisions actually being made? • What needs to be redesigned for this stage of growth? My work blends structural strategy, leadership advisory, and Human Design — used as a practical decision-making framework, not a belief system — to clarify how founders lead, delegate, price, and grow. This is structural strategy — not motivational coaching. Most clients begin with a focused three-month engagement and continue with ongoing strategic advisory as their firms evolve.
