• Ralph Pucci Miami Gallery Opening

  RALPH PUCCI (Miami) celebrates the opening of its new 10,000 sq ft Miami gallery at 550 NW 28th Street during Art Basel Miami. To celebrate, striking murals called Strange Vegetation by iconic French designer Elizabeth Garouste will adorn the building’s exterior. Garouste will also display her newest collection Beans, featuring seven lighting and furniture pieces in Ralph Pucci’s proprietary Plasterglass material, made entirely in the company headquarters on 18th Street in Manhattan. Hervé van der Straeten’s vibrant collection Fun Ride, which features his signature limited-edition, gravity-defying forms along with bold colors, will also make its US debut. Also on show will be new works from Iranian French architect India Mahdavi, Californian lighting designer and artist John Wigmore, and legendary photographers Christopher Makos and Marjorie Salvaterra. The entire stable of Pucci's roster of major names and emerging talents will be represented in the galleries, including Patrick Naggar, Stefan Bishop, Paul Mathieu, Nina Seirafi, Jim Zivic, Eric Schmitt and many others. This also marks its tenth anniversary in the Wynwood area, having opened its smaller original location (now closed) during the fair in 2013.

The annual celebration includes Art Miami—the second-most attended contemporary art fair in the world—and AfriKin Art Fair, showcasing works by African artists.

  Design Miami returns to Miami Beach for the 19th edition of the fair held December 6-10, 2023, with Preview Day on December 5, 2023. The fair will take place on Convention Center Drive and 19th Street, alongside Art Basel at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
