Ornare hosted a cocktail party to kick off the ASID CEU Summit: Mind, Body + Soul at the A&D Building. Opening remarks by Media partner Metropolis—represented by Katie Okamoto, senior editor—reinforced the relevance of conference topics such as biophilia, humane/vegan design and sourcing healthy materials that won’t harm users or the planet.
75 ASID designers were welcomed by Ornare's director Peter Schattan, Metropolis' Okamoto, ASID NY Metro president elect Alyssa Grella and director at large Benjamin Huntington. Also in attendance was Lefoy Brooks' marketing manager Virginia Guillian and Florense's VP of business and project development Naiane Farrell.
“Ornare opened their beautiful showroom to host a fabulous cocktail party for attendees of the CEU Summit. We also enjoyed opening remarks emphasizing the importance of the Summit’s chosen topics by senior editor Katie Okamoto of Metropolis magazine, our new media partner. Everyone enjoyed unwinding after a busy afternoon of education and showroom crawls throughout the A&D Building,” said Diana Mosher, communications director of ASID NY Metro.
