Traditional Home names new Publisher

Beth McDonough has been named Publisher of Traditional Home magazine, replacing Amy Churgin, who held the position since October 2013.

Since joining Meredith Corporation in 2002, McDonough has held a variety of positions including most recently Group Associate Publisher/Marketing for Traditional Home, Group Marketing Director for Midwest Living and Family Circle magazines, and Group Associate Publisher for Meredith Home Solutions. She began her career as a public relations account executive and has also held marketing positions at Elle and Mademoiselle.

“Beth is in touch with how advertisers and marketers are using multiple platforms to reach their target audiences,” said Tom Witschi, President of Meredith’s Women’s Lifestyle Group. “Her excellent knowledge and broad experience with Traditional Home, as well as the luxury home market, makes her the ideal individual to lead and grow this iconic brand.”

McDonough holds a bachelor’s degree from Barnard College. She will continue to be based in Meredith’s New York offices at 805 Third Avenue.

Traditional Home has a circulation of approximately 869,000 and a readership of nearly five million.
