Top editors and designers celebrated Legends of La Cienega

Every event on the roster was sold out at last month's Legends of La Cienega. The three-day event, organized by the La Cienega Design Quarter, celebrated the West Hollywood design district, the design community as well as local fine artists.

A line-up of New York and L.A. shelter magazine editors and publishers supported the event by participating in panel discussions and hosting receptions: Michael Boodro and Barbara Friedman of ELLE DECOR; Dara Caponigro, Carolyn Englefield, Jennifer Bruno and Lisa Newsom of VERANDA; Ann Maine of Traditional Home, Newell Turner of House Beautiful,, Pam Jaccarino of Luxe, Alexandria Abramian-Mott of Angeleno and Angeleno Interiors, Susan McFadden of California Homes and Julia Noran of The Editor at Large.

Event highlights included window displays featuring vignettes by top designers inspired by their favorite artists, presented by One Kings Lane; an Opening Night Gala hosted by ELLE DECOR Editor-in-Chief Michael Boodro at Therien & Co.; a Kick-off Breakfast hosted by House Beautiful Editor-in-Chief Newell Turner at Baker; a Designer’s Power Lunch at Marge Carson; a Cocktail Party hosted by Traditional Home Editor-in-Chief Ann Maine at Lee Stanton Antiques; a finale celebration hosted by VERANDA Editor-in-Chief Dara Caponigro at The Melrose Project; a luxurious VIP Lounge hosted by Silestone; and a special One Kings Lane Tastemaker Tag Sale featuring LCDQ member items benefitting The Art of Elysium’s Elysium Project.
