As successful home furnishings websites such as One Kings Lane and Gilt gain traction, Décor Insider (decorinsider.com) announces its official launch, separating itself as the “to-the-trade" discount shopping option.

Like Gilt and OKL, Décor Insider provides access to limited-time, private sales from designer collections including Odegard Carpets, Pollack Fabrics, The Stephanie Odegard Collection, Jed Johnson Home, Edward Ferrell | Lewis Mittman, Two World Arts, Kravet, Lee Jofa, Carole Gratale, Robert Allen, Robert Lighton British Khaki, Resource Furniture, Baldinger Architectural Lighting and more.

The site is a joint venture between Carole Gratale, furniture designer and manufacturer, and James Oates and Mike Kelly, founders of interactive design firm Hudson Union.

“The home furnishings industry is ready to open up to new markets and reach new customers online,” Gratale said. “What better way to start than with a ‘warehouse sale’ where all the items are in stock, ready for delivery, and priced way below retail?”
