The second annual Real Simple Holiday Pop-Up Shop is a retail, hospitality, and entertainment destination for the season. Organized by Real Simple magazine, the shop will be open December 8-13 at Citi Pond at Bryant Park. There will be more than 75 items for sale at the shop, including products from the magazine's December gift guide, and the magazine's editors will be on-hand to address readers’ most pressing “holiday challenges” related to gift-giving, fashion, decorating, and menu-planning.

Visitors to the 5,000-square-foot Holiday Pop-Up Shop, open 11 am to 8 pm daily, will find a handpicked assortment of unique gift ideas under $50—for her, for him, for home, for kids—as featured in the holiday gift guide (December issue on newsstands tomorrow, and on www.realsimple.com/giftguide ). Branded books and items from the Real Simple Solutions product line (exclusive, otherwise, to Bed Bath & Beyond) will also be available for sale. Presenting Sponsor Citi will provide debit and credit-card POS capabilities.

“We’re thrilled to announce our second Holiday Pop-Up-Shop in the heart of New York City,” said Kristin van Ogtrop, Managing Editor, Real Simple. “Last year’s event was a hit with consumers, and we’re looking forward to helping make the busy shopping season even easier—and more fun—this year.”

“We’re very excited to sponsor Real Simple’s Holiday Pop-Up Shop this year,” said Vanessa Colella, Head of Marketing, North America Consumer Bank, Citi. “The holiday season is one of the busiest times of year, and we are always working to help consumers discover solutions that will deliver simplicity and peace of mind.”

Presenting Sponsor Citi will provide a courtesy warming station with hot beverages and hand warmers, as well as a digital lounge where shoppers can learn more about products and services that help simplify the holiday season. Major Sponsor L’Oréal Paris will provide beauty makeovers and hair consultations along with giveaways and products for sale. Supporting sponsors include The Container Store, Vera Bradley and Zappos. Gift-bag giveaways will include products from Real SimpleDonorsChoose.org and event sponsors (limited quantities; first come, first served).
