The U.S.-based luxury e-commerce site RubyLUX.com has teamed up with the 5,000-member-strong international dealer organization the Confédération Internationale des Négociants en Oeuvres d’Art (CINOA). The partners’ mission is to change the way “consumers buy antiques, fine furniture, jewelry and art...by uniting the tools of technology with the broad knowledge and expertise of CINOA members, eliminating all trade borders.” They also intend to provide educational programs, and work toward the prevention of art theft and forgery.

“This new industry partnership is a perfect marriage between RubyLUX’s high-tech resources and CINOA’s exceptional inventory in order to reach the consumers of tomorrow,” RubyLUX CEO and founder Tom Johnson says of the partnership. CINOA is a nonprofit made up of associations representing international arts and antiques dealers, including 5,000 dealers from 32 associations across 22 countries.
