When it rains it pours, and after several years of design-content drought, local and regional design magazines are blooming this Spring.

New York magazine will release its first special edition shelter magazine this May, New York Design Hunting, headed up by design editor Wendy Goodman. The trial issue will be sold on newsstands for $6.99 and distributed to a circulation of 75,000.

Previously announced Spring editions include Condé Nast's special edition of Domino, Quick Fixes, which will be on newsstands April 17 $10.99.

On the same day, Trad Home magazine will launch online at Tradhomemag.com. Originally guest edited by Lonny, and now exclusively edited by Traditional Home with former Lonny editor Kari Costas.

The new March/April issue of Lonny — the first since the staff's sabbatical following the November/December issue—will be live at Lonnmag.com in mid March.

Finally, the premiere edition of New York Cottages & Gardens will be arriving on doorsteps in March.
