Lenny Kravitz's Kravitz Design is launching a collection with CB2 on October 1 featuring lighting, wall décor, rugs, pillows and furniture—a total of 20 pieces—available in a pre-sale over September 15 to 16, the first presale of its kind for CB2. The pieces are inspired by Kravitz's travel, as well as two elements of the 1970s: New York City club culture and the California music scene.
“We’ve been big fans of CB2 for a long time,” said Kravitz. “Our goal was to create a collection of pieces based on my personal style and the things that have inspired me throughout my travels. This collection will appeal to a diverse group of people and we look forward to using them in future Kravitz Design projects as well as my houses in Bahamas and Brazil. The CB2 team was open to our ideas and made every effort to produce them as we had envisioned. They were great to work with on every level.”
It's the first furniture collection for Kravitz Design, which is focused on residential, product and commercial design and has recently debuted projects including the relaunch of famous Paris nightclub L'Arc, a collection of watches and sunglasses for Chilli Beans, a Brazilian brand, and a limited-edition camera and camera case for Leica.
“The development of this collection was a truly collaborative design process,” said Ryan Turf, Managing Director for CB2. “Lenny Kravitz and the Kravitz Design team’s sophisticated perspective helped create a collection that is both beautiful and practical, earthy and elegant, and a great complement to our CB2 aesthetic.”
