This Thursday, August 2, the 44th Annual Bridgehampton Charity House Tour and design symposium will take place at the Silas Marder Gallery in Bridgehampton, New York.

The Thursday events begin with a design symposium, “Perspectives on Hampton’s Style,” at the gallery, located at 120 Snake Hollow Road, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. It will be moderated by renowned interior designer Marshall Watson.

The House Tour will take place in the Bridgehampton area from 1:00 – 5:00 PM. Houses featured on the tour will include the traditional home of local resident architect Kitty McCoy, recently featured in Hamptons Cottages & Gardens, whose property includes a picturesque pond and charming covered bridge; and in contrast, a stunning modernist home in Sagaponack crafted in mahogany with large walls of glass, designed by the award winning Bates + Masi architects, who recently received the Record House Award 2012 from Architectural Record Magazine.

All proceeds go to east-end charities. Symposium tickets are $75.00 in advance and $90.00 on the day of the event.  House Tour tickets are $60.00 in advance and $75.00 on the day of the tour. Joint tickets are $125.00 in advance and $150.00 the day of the tour.
