Celeb chef Lulu Powers, best-selling author of Food to Flowers, has been named House Beautiful’s food and entertaining columnist, beginning with next month’s issue. In the column, “Life at Lulu’s,” Powers will share entertaining and design advice.

“Lulu perfectly captures the essence of what it means to host today,” shares Sophie Donelson, the magazine’s editor in chief. “She executes eminently Instagramable meals and celebrations with joy and creativity. The best part is that she has fun while she does it, and can help readers do the same. There’s not a person at House Beautiful who hasn’t already put a Lulu tip or recipe to good use!”

As a chef, Powers’ clients include Madonna, Bill Clinton, and Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith. She shares, “I have been a fan of House Beautiful and its celebration of beauty and style for as long as I can remember. Hosting friends and family is my greatest joy, and I cannot wait to share my best advice and tricks about entertaining with House Beautiful’s readers every month. I can’t think of a better home for my expertise.”
