During the ICFF Talks earlier this month, Jaime Derringer, founder of Design Milk, moderated “Designing for the Modern Lifestyle: The Intersection of Tech and Design in the Kitchen & Bath,” with Patricia Davis Brown, Karl Champley, Young Huh, Brian Patrick Flynn and Alberto Villalobos. The panel participants, all members of the 2016 National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) K+B Insiders, consisting of both up-and-coming and established influencers from the design and building industries, discussed technology’s impact on kitchen and bath design.

“Each year, ICFF sets the stage for thoughtful discussions among the 33,000-plus that attend New York Design Week,” says Bill Darcy, CEO of NKBA. “This year, the NKBA K+B Insiders brought their outstanding knowledge of design to the ICFF Talks to discuss designing for a modern lifestyle, with a focus on how technology trends in the kitchen and bath have altered the way we live. All experienced and up-and-coming designers can advance their careers substantially from affiliating with NKBA,…from networking with the most talented minds in the industry to certifications that help inform and land new business to tapping into our vast resources and continuing-education programs to feed the desire to keep learning and creating beautiful, functional spaces beloved by clients.”
