jcpenny launches new home departments nationwide

jcpenney celebrated the launch of its new Home collections and shops—from MarthaHome, Happy Chic by Jonathan Adler, Design by Conran, Michael Graves Design, BODUM, ORDNING&REDA and Pantone Universe—with a private event at Skylight at Moynihan Station last night.

More than 500 stores received a complete Home department renovation with updated flooring, accent lighting, custom fixturing and a widened pathway to create an inspiring environment for shopping a curated selection of affordable furnishings. Expanded furniture departments have been added to nearly 300 stores across the country—with an extended assortment on jcp.com.

On a local level, the company is celebrating its grand re-opening with a series of housewarming events June 7-9 with live product demonstrations and free gifts with purchase.
