Interior Designer Charlotte Moss and Stark have collaborated to develop a line of rugs, The Passport Collection, which features hand-knotted wool and ikat designs conceived by Moss on a vacation to Istanbul.

She was inspired by the  patterns and colors of vintage ikat silks from the region, including countries like Uzbekistan. She revitalized the ancient patterns with a color pallette of aqua, citrus and raspberry and tonal gradations in shades of blues and beiges.

“Charlotte has successfully captured the native cultures of two continents with the exotic patterns in her new collection of ikat designs that were created especially for Stark,” says John Stark, Chairman of Stark. “The balance of color and classical motifs further exemplify her unlimited design talents.”
