INSPIREDESIGN, an event focused on interior and architectural design for the hospitality, senior living and healthcare marketplace, has announced a series of new free programs for this year's event to be held at World Market Center Las Vegas from February 1-3, 2010. This year's event is sponsored by Interior Design magazine, Hotel Business and The Latin Press.

“We are tremendously fortunate to be associated with the top publications covering the hospitality and healthcare design market segments,” said Gerry Seibel, INSPIREDESIGN Director. “They have put tremendous thought and planning into their individual contributions to INSPIREDESIGN and we are certain that the exhibitors and attendees will be inspired, motivated and better informed because of these enlightening sessions.”

Interior Design magazine will bring a collaboration of talent from the top design and architecture firms to a new program, “Design Beyond,” an installation of hotel rooms of the future as envisioned by select design firms. The rooms will be appointed with products from INSPIREDESIGN show exhibitors.

“The Green Debate” presented by Hotel Business will bring together a panel of hospitality executives who will explore the obstacles and advancements in the hospitality sustainability movement. Panelists include Brooke Pearsall, Managing Director of HVS Compass; Donald Griner, VP Design Choice Hotels – Cambria Suites; Deidre Schwartz, Director American Hotel Furnishings; Brent Lynch, EVP/Principal HFS/Concepts4 and Peter F. Hapstak, Design Principal of CORE architecture + design.

“Hospitality Leaders State of the Industry,” presented by Hotel Business, will address the current state of development and design along with the challenges each sector is facing. Panelists include Roger Thomas, EVP, Wynn Design & Development; Peter Hapstak, Design Principal, CORE architecture + design; Roger G. Hill II, CEO and Chairman, Gettys; Bill Langmade, President of Purchasing Management International and Jon Nehmer, Founder and President of JN&A.

IIDA will host a networking lounge on the show floor, and will present two accredited seminars: “The Convergence of Healthcare and Hospitality Design” and “Design and the Aging Population.”

“Technology and Design” presented by Hotel Business, will explore the task owners, purchasers, and designers have in adapting their designs around the rapidly advancing introductions of guestroom technology.

Interior Design magazine will launch the “Excellence in Design Awards.” More details for this new design competition will be available in the near future.
