The inaugural Miami Art + Design (MA+D), set to premiere Feb. 12-18, 2014 in Miami, will feature some of the best of American and European art and design. The fair is jointly organized by the International Fine Art Expositions (IFAE) and the Syndicat National des Antiquaires (SNA).

David Lester, owner of IFAE, will work with an SNA committee composed of Benoit Sapiro, Barry Friedman, Christian Deydier and Robert Vallois to guide the fair.

"This fair will be especially attractive to collectors, architects, and designers from throughout the United States and Latin America," said Christian Deydier, President of the SNA. "Miami is a vibrant, exciting city that has become a major cultural meeting point for the Americas."

IFAE is owned and operated by veteran fair organizers David and Lee Ann Lester. The dynamic pair has organized over 70 international art fairs in art capitals around the world including New York, Chicago, Hong Kong, and London. The firm founded Miami, Florida's original international art fair, Art Miami, in the Miami Beach Convention Center in 1991, the Palm Beach International Art & Antique Fair (now American International Fine Art Fair) in 1997, Art Palm Beach in 1998, Art Sarasota and Art Greenwich in 2011.

The Syndicat National des Antiquaires (SNA) is the largest association of art and design dealers in France and the producers of the famous Paris Biennale. The association was founded in 1947 with the motto of "authenticity, quality and integrity" thereby ensuring compliance with a code of honor to which all its members adhere. SNA has been organizing the Biennale des Antiquaires since 1962 and co-organized the new Salon: Art + Design in New York, held Nov. 8-12, 2012 at the Park Armory Arts Center.
