Étoffe Makara announces the opening of its new flagship showroom at World Market Center. Known as the haute couture for the bedding and pillow world, Étoffe Makara works in the tradition of master printers, hand-printing velvets, silks and other luxurious fabrics. Their computerized design layout and swatch set programs allow clients to conceptualize their visions, from textiles to bedding and pillows to draperies.
Laurent Boilly, Étoffe Makara principal owner, said, “We think in the future, it [Las Vegas Market] will be the premiere Market. Business is tough right now, but we are looking toward the long term.” Boilly said his company plans to launch many new designs at the upcoming Winter Las Vegas Market, Feb. 1 - 5.
The Las Vegas Design Center’s new Design Salon will offer the public unique access to Étoffe Makara, as well as other select showrooms. This service, a partnership between Las Vegas Design Center and The American Society of Interior Designers’ (ASID) California Central/Nevada chapter, facilitates complimentary consultations for consumers with professional designers.
