After the initial announcement this fall that the Elle Décor senior editorial team would be promoted under new Editor in Chief Michael Boodro, yesterday the brand announced its latest appointments to the editorial and sales staffs.
Mieke ten Have joins the editorial team as Associate Style Editor and Los Angeles-based media sales firm Chalamode LLC has been engaged for national sales support in southern California.
This year, Elle Décor was included on Advertising Age's "A-List," and it garnered the number three position out of 149 titles tracked by MIN.
"Now we're adding even more firepower to enhance our leadership position in what promises to be a very competitive playing field for 2011 and beyond," said Barbara Friedmann, Vice President/Brand Publisher.
Mieke ten Have, Associate Style Editor, has worked for The Wall Street Journal/Off Duty, Vogue, Domino and Revolution magazines. She was also Design Editor at mydeco.com and a designer with Rita Konig Interior Designs, Inc. Mieke also has her own blog The Paper Trail.
Chalamode LLC is headed by Cha Mueller, a 20-year industry veteran with media sales experience at Gourmet, The Sporting News, Dwell and Doubledown Media.
Elle Décor and elledecor.com reach 2.5 million print and online users each month and 8.9 million readers worldwide with 23 publications in 27 countries. The magazine is published by Hachette Filipacchi Media U.S.
