A herd of signature Eames Elephants reimagined for charity will appear in an exhibit at next month’s Designjunction 2015 fair. Donated by Swiss furniture company Vitra, each of the 21 elephants will be uniquely painted, accessorized and otherwise decorated by a host of respected designers and architects. The herd will appear in Designjunction’s “A Child’s Dream” exhibit and will be auctioned off online to support Teddy’s Wish charity, which was founded in 2014 to honor Edward Louis Reid, who died from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome that year. Funds support research into SIDS, stillborn and neonatal death syndrome and help provide support services for grieving families.

Participating designers include Zandra Rhodes, Sir Kenneth Grange, furniture designers Terence Woodgate, Lee Broom and Russell Pinch; Michael Marriott; architects and interior designers at Aukett Swanke and Gensler and textile designers Kit Miles and Eley Kishimoto. The full list of designers and firms includes: CKR, FRONT, Fredrikson Stallard, Industrial Facility, Kenneth Grange, Gensler, Eley Kishimoto, André Klauser, Max Lamb, Philippe Malouin, Michael Marriott, Kit Miles, Neri & Hu, Patternity, Russell Pinch, Raw Edges, Zandra Rhodes, Terence Woodgate and Sebastian Wrong.
