The Decorative Furnishings Association, in partnership with ASID, will host a luncheon discussion on Thursday, July 16, at the Boston Design Center to “refine and reenergize strategies developed in 2012 aimed at generating more clients and more trade.” The event is part of ASID's Chapter Leadership Conference (CLC).

The working lunch event will allow DFA members, ASID members, Design Centers and DFA’s media partners to collaborate on how to accomplish a range of objectives. New members may also have the opportunity to meet Craig Cross, who has recently joined the DFA as director of public relations and community outreach. Craig, who will first focus on developing and expanding a membership campaign, has worked across a variety of industries, with the past nine years spent in architecture and design.

ASID's conference attendees are invited to attend a variety of panels and programs, including Friday morning's networking breakfast and the Leadership Styles Session, Saturday's team-building breakfast and National Honors Presentation & State of the Society, as well as training sessions and breakouts. "Celebration," the American Society of Interior Designers Awards Gala will be held on Saturday night at the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, where a red-carpet reception will greet guests. The evening will also feature dinner, dancing, the awards show, and a tour of the art galleries.
