Flowerboy Project, a brick-and-mortar retail shop and cafe, is blooming in Venice. Designer Sean Knibb's new concept shop opened this past weekend, located next door to the Knibb Design studio. All of the items on view are also on sale: furniture, lighting, curated object collections, avant-garde pieces and, true to the shop’s name, fresh flowers.

“There has never been one true destination for people to really experience everything that I make,” says Knibb.“Flowerboy Project is where my creative thoughts and design ideas can live and experiment and be enjoyed by a wider group of people. It will be a sweet and intimate experience with a lot of layers to it.”

The shop, which is a retail collaboration with Raan and Lindsay Parton of Alchemy Works, showcases framed artwork from photographer Will Adler, clothing and accessories from Apolis, Clare V, and Miansai, fragrances from Rodin and Fiele and exclusive jewelry from Vendome Yamada as well as from Gabriela Artigas and VereVerto. Plus, a selection of Knibb designs are also available, including ceramic jug vases and colorful woven patio furniture. Snack options include custom sandwiches from Madame Monsieur Boutique, Sugarbloom Bakery pastries and ALMA handmade chocolates.
