Designer Laura Day named brand ambassador for C. Wonder
By Staff

C. Wonder, the retail concept and lifestyle brand by Christopher Burch, debuted its second flagship store in NYC at The Shops at Columbus Circle over the weekend. As part of the grand opening, the store unveiled its new brand ambassador.

None other than Laura Day, interior designer and former star of TLC’s Trading Spaces.

Day will be the face and voice of C. Wonder during store openings, in-store events, and collection launches. Her aesthetic pairs well with that of C. Wonder – a dose of whimsy mixed in with classical design and a certain je ne sais quoi.

“We are so lucky to have Laura who is both adventurous and elegant in her design approach be a part of our team,” said Burch.

So what is Laura’s favorite item in the store? Dinnerware, she said. “There is such a great selection and I really love the mix of colors.”

The first C. Wonder opened in Soho in October 2011 and the company has since rapidly expanded to five other cities across the country.

The shop sells everything from tabletop items to pillows and throws, as well as women’s clothing and accessories—but one thing you can expect to see is intense color.
