The Italian textile company's new location will be overseen by president Rosecrans Baldwin and will handle the North American distribution of Dedar textiles, wallcoverings and trimmings in addition to Hermès furnishing fabrics and wallpapers. While there is no showroom at the location, there will be a distribution center and an office, designed to assist and facilitate orders, sales, promotion and distribution for the existing 17 showrooms that carry the brand throughout North America.

The trade- and appointment-only location will service the final clients, particularly interior designers, based in North America more efficiently and will provide support to all the showrooms. One perk: the new location will drop delivery time from two weeks to two to three days.

Dedar also has offices in showrooms in France, Russia, the Middle East, the United Kingdom and Germany.
