After 12 years at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, Decorex International will be moving to a new location at the Perks Field adjacent to Kensington Palace, a private space owned by Buckingham Palace, for its 2013 show.

The exhibition started its life in Grosvenor Square in 1978, spent some years at Syon Park (1990-1999), before moving to the Royal Hospital in 2000.

"Perks Field is a fantastic location within the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea. It has excellent communications links and the footprint of the show will remain the same," said a show representative.

Show organizers were keen on keeping Decorex in the Kensington/Chelsea area because of the borough's reputation as a thriving hub for design.

This year’s show will take place September 22 – 25, 2013.
