After 16 years at the helm of Bergamo, and of Donghia since its 2005 acquisition, Rosecrans "Crans" Baldwin is taking a new role as CEO/President of Edward Ferrell + Lewis Mittman (EF+LM), effective February 1.

“I have known and respected Steve Mittman and EF+LM for many years, and I truly think that our combined experience and knowledge can make this already wonderfully successful company even stronger," said Mr. Baldwin. "I look forward to the challenge!”

Steve Mittman, Chairman of EF+LM, will remain actively involved with EF+LM, overseeing company operations as well as product design and manufacturing.

“Crans is well-known and well-loved throughout the design industry and with good reason—he pours his heart and soul into helping advance interior design at every opportunity,” said Mr. Mittman.

Andrea Rubelli will replace Crans as President and CEO of Donghia and Bergamo, overseeing sales for both brands. He will work closely with his US sales team consisting of Carolyn Reed, VP of Residential Sales for Donghia, Rubelli and Sahco, Sarah Rosner, VP of Contract Sales and Rennie Lefkowitz, Director of Showrooms. The executive team will include Bill Peterson, CFO; Chuck Chewning, Creative Director; and Luigi Nonino, COO.

"On behalf of the Shareholders and Employees of Donghia, Inc., I would like to thank Crans for all he did for us both personally and professionally,” said Mr. Rubelli. "He was a key member of the Donghia and Bergamo family and we will all miss him tremendously.  We wish him all the best in his new venture."

According to Mr. Rubelli, Mr. Baldwin was instrumental in Bergamo's expansive sales growth over the course of a decade, and was critical in making the acquisition of Donghia, Inc. possible by the Rubelli Group & Partners in 2005.

Under Mr. Rubelli, the company will develop and expand Donghia Custom Solutions, a division started by Mr. Baldwin, which is a full-service custom design facilitator for corporate and hospitality clients. Donghia will also launch a signature furniture and lighting collection designed by Chewning—to be introduced at Salone del Mobile in Milan in early April and in the Manhattan flagship showroom in May.
