Interior designer Barclay Butera will launch a collection of furnishings under his new brand, Barclay Butera Lifestyle at High Point Market, April 17-22.

Butera has partnered with manufacturer HFI Brands to bring "aspirational designs at an attainable price point" pieces. "Even our most affluent and discerning clients are looking for high style and great value," Butera said. Targeting mid-luxury markets, Butera's line aims to open up distribution to high-end department and specialty retailers around the country.

Barclay Butera Lifestyle will debut with 250-plus pieces inspired by Butera's lifestyle design categories Town, Country, City, Modern Beach, and Plantation. Materials and textures range from high gloss lacquers, to rosewood finishes, to bleached white-washed woods. Butera's line of carpets and textiles from Kravet will accent the collection.

"When we decided to launch HFI Brands, the first person that came to mind immediately was Barclay Butera," McKee said. "This guy is a rising star within the world of design, and with his high energy and flawless taste we knew he'd deliver designs that would set the industry on fire."
