The Southeast Designer of the Year Awards were presented last night at a gala cocktail event sponsored by Veranda magazine at the Atlanta Decorative Arts Center's (ADAC) as part of DesignDefined.
Veranda Editor in Chief Dara Caponigro presented the awards to Melanie Turner of Melanie Turner Interiors for Residential; Joni Vanderslice of J. Banks Design Group for Contract; and Stan Dixon of D. Stanley Architects for Architect.
The awards began over 15 years ago to award the top design talent in the Southeast. The projects submitted have been completed within the last two years and have not yet been published. The submissions are blind coded and judged by Editors at Veranda Magazine.
