Cheminne Taylor-Smith will be stepping down from her post as Vice President of Marketing for High Point Market to join Tobi Fairley Associates in a newly-created position as Senior VP of Brand Marketing, beginning May 13.

In her new post, Taylor-Smith will be responsible for overall brand strategy and management of the Tobi Fairley brand, including development of new products and services, marketing, public relations, social media management, and creation and support of live events, seminars and design camps.

Taylor-Smith and Fairley are also creating a new division for Tobi Fairley Associates that will offer consulting work for clients in the areas of branding, strategic planning, marketing, social media, public relations, and event planning. The company will also launch a new website in August.

We already have strong interest in the new consulting division, which will include work for furnishings manufacturers and suppliers, show managers, interior designers, and retailers.”

Taylor-Smith has worked for Elle Decor, Metropolitan Home, InFurniture, Reed Business Publications, and other companies in the home furnishings arena in various capacities from editorial to public relations and marketing.
