Newly launched this spring, Minted's trade program is linking interior designers with independent artists, print by print and yard by yard. The online marketplace hosts design challenges, inviting online "crowds" to rate designs from independent artists which are then made available for purchase, including wall and photo art, fabric by the yard, stationery and home decor.

Kaydi Bishop, a former interior designer who now designs invitations and stationery for her company Kaydi Bishop + Maison Yellow, is also a Minted artist. “I have been extremely fortunate over the last several years to have had many designs selected to be sold on Minted,” says Bishop. The site “has encouraged my growth as a designer and inevitably exposed my work to tens of thousands of people I may not have otherwise reached. As Minted continues to grow, the community of designers has expanded as well.”

As Mariam Naficy, CEO and founder of Minted, shares with EAL, “We’re thrilled to debut Minted's new trade program for commercial and residential interior designers. The consumer response to our limited-edition art prints has been tremendous and we anticipate a similar response from the interior design community. Interior designers have expressed enthusiasm about our unique marketplace of independent artists, which provides a continuously fresh and evolving assortment of art.”

Minted’s prints are printed on museum-quality paper and are available in a selection of sizes ranging from 5" x 7" to 44" x 60" for landscape and portrait prints, and from 8" x 8" to 44" x 44" for square prints, each with a selection of framing options. The site also offers interior designers a 20 percent discount on all artwork, with no minimums and free returns. Residential and commercial interior designers are invited to join here.

Minted.com's new trade program offers designers 20 percent off prints, fabrics and other home decor.
