On October 19, industry guests were invited to join Waterbox founder Monica Souza and Dutch designer Piet Boon at a soirée celebrating the grand opening of Waterbox New York.
More than 175 guests gathered in the stunning and elegant bath and kitchen showroom to see the outstanding Piet Boon x Cocoon collection of marble baths, sinks and bathroom
fixtures, in addition to several other beautiful lines from Fantini, Gessi, CEA Design and Antonio Lupi, as well as a curation of assorted luxury kitchen and bath brands. The atmosphere at Waterbox was vibrant and inviting, with fun music and excellent food and drinks by local caterer Canard.
Designers and architects on hand for the festivities included General Judd and Cristina Casanas-Judd, Rayman Boozer, Sacha Roubeni, Agnieszka Vosloo, Marianna Fiorin, Helena Clunies-Ross, Marco Petrini, Tyler Napolitano, Daniel Laporte, Jonathan Zakarya, Luis Gonzalez, Mirtha Arriaran and Dani Guardini. Members of the media including Rebecca Thienes of Interior Design, Arlene Hirst of The New York Times and David Hamilton of Hearst also enjoyed the festivities.
“We had a lovely time hosting designers, architects, vendors and contractors at our beautiful New York showroom,” said Souza. “Part of our philosophy is to be much more than a store, and this evening truly captured that essence. It’s important to us to celebrate this moment—our grand opening!”
