Rue IV celebrated Fall Market 2024 at the Washington Design Center with a live version of “Survey Says!” Four teams composed of designers and industry partners went head-to-head in a heated and hilarious battle of the minds, testing their interior design knowledge in a trivia game emceed by Melvin Hooks.
The winning team, Vinyl Messi—which included Fabricut’s Laura Smith and designers Samantha Friedman, Amanda Chando, Barbi Stalburg Kasoff, Stacey Dobrovolny and Annie Staley—took the prize after knocking out worthy opponents from teams Dan Merino Wool, Terrycloth Bradshaw and Kareem Abdul Jacquard.
A group of 130 designers and industry tastemakers joined the festivities, hosted by Rue IV’s owners, Janine Guerin and Jay Guerin. Also on hand were representatives from the showroom’s vendors, Arte, Fabricut, Zimmer + Rohde, Rosemary Hallgarten, Hartmann&Forbes and Lala Curio.
“I had a blast living out my childhood dream of being on Family Feud!” said designer Erica Burns, a member of team Dan Merino Wool. “It was a great mix of designers, a hilarious emcee and a lively audience—all around a really fun and unique event hosted by Rue IV.”
