During the Pacific Design Center’s fall market, Thibaut and Business of Home hosted a keynote panel moderated by editor in chief Kaitlin Petersen. Three powerhouse Los Angeles–based designers—Amy Sklar, Huma Sulaiman and Linda Hayslett—joined Petersen and Thibaut’s chief marketing officer Alexandra O’Hare for a discussion about how they’ve found the right balance in their careers, why nurturing their teams is key to their success, and how they’ve organized their workflow to support business growth while staying in the mix.
“It was such an honor to talk about leadership with this extraordinary group of industry powerhouses,” said Petersen. “So often, we focus on growth above all else—but how you grow your business, and how you treat your team as you do so, is even more important. After the panel discussion in the fifth-floor atrium, market guests adjourned to the Thibaut showroom on the sixth floor for a reception.
