The NY Metro Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers celebrated the season with “A Merry Mid-Century Holiday Soirée” at the Florense showroom in the A&D Building. Over 200 guests, including Florense’s Naiane Farrell; ASID NY Metro president Kim Radovich, past president Bjorn Bjornsson, and president-elect Alyssa Grella; and designers Charles Pavarini III, Bonnie Steves, and Russell Glotfelty and Lael DeWahl of Axiom turned out to fete the season and bring unwrapped toys to donate to Ronald McDonald House. Florense also raffled off $3,000 in furniture to lucky winners.
“Brian Gallop, our director of professional development, did a stellar job to ensure our Holiday Soirée was a hit,” said Radovich. “He and our president-elect, Alyssa Grella, pulled off a memorable evening. We truly appreciate everything that our hosts, Naiane Barcellos Farrell and her team at Florense, did to ensure the evening was flawless. I am thankful that we were able to end the year at their beautiful showroom. We also appreciate the generosity shown by all our guests who donated toys for the kids at Ronald McDonald House. I am sure their faces lit up when Alyssa arrived with the abundance of holiday gifts we collected.”
