I founded MeByDesign in 2011 because I’m passionate about home--the layers, stories and meaning--everything it takes to create one. Since then, the company has evolved into the leading brand and business advisory for next-gen interior designers, architects and makers with clients across the United States, Canada and Dubai. My book "Branding + Interior Design" showed designers how to bridge the gap between designer and leader. When we work together we will build on those strategies to create a personal, next-level plan that will boost the visibility and profitability of your brand, even if that brand is emerging. We’ve helped clients hire the right team, go from six to seven-figure revenue and helped designers who are invisible get published in outlets like: Architectural Digest, New York Times, Elle Decor, House & Garden (UK), and featured on network and cable television. Several have also negotiated television development and product licensing deals. My approach to doing business is unapologetically uncommon. It’s also influenced by my past career in entertainment and by conversations I’ve had with design legends at panels and conference like Decorex, Dwell on Design, West Week LA, and the D&D’s Fall Market to name a few. I love that my clients aesthetics are as different as their business models. More about me, I’m a member of the Producers Guild of America and have created episodic lifestyle, news, and unscripted programming for digital, cable, and network television. I have an above-average interest in lighting, finding the perfect white shirt especially when they’re created sustainably. I’m also a second-generation entrepreneur and the first woman in my family to own a business. Last year, I was invited to join the Board of the DC Design Collective.
