During Modernism Week in Palm Springs, Traditional Home and Garnet Hill hosted an evening party and talk with designer Michael Berman at his restored midcentury home. Jill Waage, the magazine’s editor in chief, and Berman discussed midcentury design and its enduring style for the 100 guests in attendance.
“A soirée during Modernism Week in Michael Berman’s backyard is about as iconic as it gets,” says Waage. “Talking to Michael about how midcentury design, ranging from architecture to music to political movements, has influenced his many collections and design projects was a real treat for Traditional Home, Garnet Hill and all attendees.”
