The Art of Color, an artisanal line under Stout Textiles, introduces its Well-Kept Secret collection of traditional hand-blocked fabric and wallpaper. As the first exclusive block-print collection from Stout Textiles, it honors the ancient craft of hand-printing fabrics, each pattern created by skilled artisans using intricately carved wooden blocks—a traditional technique that has been passed down through generations. The warm, subtle colors are derived from natural dyes. Two years in the making, the collection came to life through a collaboration with a multigenerational, family-owned textile mill in India, similar to that of Stout’s family-owned business in Colmar, Pennsylvania.
