Over 140 exhibitors will join together for the winter edition of the Decorative Antiques & Textiles Fair in Battersea Park, London from Jan. 22-27.

This year’s old Hollywood glamour theme will be represented by glittering waterfall chandeliers, mirrored furniture, curvaceous sofas upholstered in velvets and ‘hostess’ chairs in satin button-back upholstery—all set against an Art Deco backdrop of black, white and silver.

Birds-eye maple, shagreen, leather, lacquer and parchment will highlight the elegant furnishings. The display will reference the glamorous black and white films of Fred & Ginger, the lavish interiors of S.S. Normandie and the famous Hollywood interiors of William (Billy) Haines, which he created for the likes of Carol Lombard and Joan Crawford.

Cocktail hour items such as classic shakers, glasses and gleaming trays as well as early airline travel items including vintage luggage and posters will further represent the theme.

Some of the exhibitors taking part in the fair include Jeroen Markies, Fiona McDonald, Le Style 25, Monika, Quindry, C202, Tim Smith-Vincent, Antikbar, Kiki Design and L&V Art and Design.

The last fair, which took place in October welcomed high profile designers such as Rose Tarlow. Established over 25 years ago, guests can expect to see painted furniture, Gustavian & Swedish design, 20th century design, lighting, accessories, named-design furniture and excellent mirrors.
