Local CT design talent celebrated by Athome magazine

Last month, Moffly Media presented its annual athome magazine A-List Awards at the Stamford Palace Theater honoring Connecticut design talent and projects, emceed by interior designer Eric Cohler.

Top design projects in 16 categories were chosen by a panel of interior designer judges including Alexa Hampton, Nathan Turner, Ed Siegel, Gary Brewer, Celerie Kemble, Richard Hartlage, Keith Williams, Mario Nievera, Windsor Smith and Gil Schafer.

Each of the designers was in attendance to present the winners with his or her A-List Awards, which are listed below.

Living Spaces: Jennifer Smokler Interiors

Bath Design: Charles Hilton Architects

Kids Playspace & Kids Bedroom: Karen Bow Interiors

Bedroom: Elena Phillips Interiors

Dining room: Pimlico Interiors

Modern Architecture: Prutting & Company

Landscape (less than 1 acre) and Landscape (greater than 1 acre): Doyle Herman Design Associates

Renovation: Mark Finlay Architects

Kitchen Design: Richard Swann Architects

Traditional Architecture (Less than 7,000 sf): Brooks & Falotico Associates

Traditional Architecture (Greater than 7,000 sf): James Schettino Architects

Entryways: Morgan Harrison Home

Office/Library: Austin Patterson Disston Architects

Pool House: Mockler Taylor Architects
